What Does A Lump In The Rectal Area Indicate?

A young woman I know just told me that she hadn t been to the bathroom to poop for about 3 days. She was able to 2x today with no problems but was wondering if she had hemorhoids(no blood on toilet paper, though) because she felt a small bump at the outside of her rectum. It s uncomfortable when she coughs, sneezes or laughs. Can you help?
