What Does A Lump In The Throat Indicate?
White string at the back of my throat. It’s only on one side behind the uvula, it’s exposed and every time I swallow, it feels like a lump or when I swallow, I gag because it’s just there and I can feel it. On the other side of my throat behind the uvula, another white string is there, but it’s covered, so it doesn’t bother me. The other one isn’t covered up and I’m getting sick of this.

If you do not have high temperature along with it, it's nothing but food particles accumulated in tonsils causing white string appearance on tonsil.
Just do warm salt water gargles with head tilted upwards, 3-4 times a days specially after taking meals.
