What Does A Lump Like Feeling On Throat Suggest?

I have a lump type feeling in my throat/lungs and am having an uncomfortable feeling when I swallow/breathe. I believe it is located under my manubrium bone- I think that s what it s called. Under the collar bone area. I don t have a sore throat or any other symptoms besides the uncomfortable nature of the lump- I can t feel it on the outside, only internally. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

There might be some tumor in that area but it requires some more details to know the type and size of tumor. On the basis of finding treatment can be initiated.
This is very difficult to make any diagnosis with out the physical verification of the problem. There may be many reason for the lump. it may be thyroid which seems like a lump or a real tumor at the base of neck.

I would advice you to go for CT scan to make clear picture of disease depending on the finding further course of treatment can be decided. You may also visit to any physician for routine check up assessment of case.
