What Does A Lump On Forehead Indicate?

I have a lump on my forehead it came after I banged my head, it has been there for 3 years now, I have tried rubbing as well as massage but it will not go. It feels very hard and when moving the skin over the bump the bump itself does not move. I would like to know what it is and how to get rid of it.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
A X-ray of the forehead is required to assess whether the lump is formed due to soft tissue swelling or due to bony swelling.
The banding of head has probably led to sift tissue injury and then healing with deposition of fibrous tissue.
Formation of fibrous tissue has caused in-duration and thus a firm swelling.
The swelling is not harmful and has only cosmetic importance.
Compression of the site can lead to relieving of the swelling.
However, a clinical assessment by your primary healthcare provider is essential.

Thanks and take care
