What Does A Lump On The Jawline Indicate?

I have a hard lump underneath the skin on the upper jaw line. I was not to concerned about this because I thought this was a muscle growing due to the fact I grind my teeth where the lump started growing. Now the lump is starting to grow faster. I m getting worried.
