Hi there! My son has never been the best sleeper he s notw 5.5 months old. Past few weeks he s been screaming when on his back or in certain positions ( people holding him). I noticed today he has a lump at the bottom of his spine right about his bum. My sure if this is normal fatty tissue or not? All day he s either sleeping or fussing but I m concerned about this lump. I don t want him in pain
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. Lump in back on vertebral column should always be evaluated for spinal cord and vertebral anomalies. So better to consult orthopedic doctor and get done MRI spine to identify the cause of lump. If it is spinal properly vertebral anomaly then surgical correction is needed. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your child. Thanks.
