Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I have just noticed a very small lump on the inside of my upper water line. It is very small around about 1mm, clear and looks like it has pus in maybe. Any help to get rid of it or how long it will take to go away will be very helpful! Thank you Megan.
If there is pus present, this may indicate that there is an minor infection.
This can be treated with the use of topical antiseptic to clean the area twice daily eg dilute hydrogen peroxide. The use of a topical antibiotic, also twice daily, would also be helpful. Topical antibiotics would be available over the counter.
If there is no improvement or worsening occurs, then you may need to see your doctor for assessment.
I hope this helps
