What Does A Lump Under Ear Indicate?

Ive had this hard lump under my ear for about 2-3 months and have not done anything about it because i thought it would go way. It hasn t. Its hard and doesn t move but it doesn t hurt and i haven t been feeling sick at all. it occurred the same time i got my cartilage piercing.

Hello thank you for writing us here.
Its most probably a lymph node. While piercing, there would have been little infection which was absorbed by the lymph node and it swelled.
It would take little time for it to come back to normal size. You can either wait for few weeks (or even months) so it comes back to its normal size or get the contents aspirated by a doctor which would hardly take 10 minutes. But after that you might have little pain for sometime but it would be alright.
You can take your time and make your wise decision.
