What Does A Lump Under The Armpit Indicate?

I ve had a lump under my armpit near my breast for nearly a year, it never hurt and i left it alone assuming if it were a cyst it would eventually rupture, but its gradually grown in a long oblong shape, today it ruptured and bled very heavy, no pus at all, but tissue is coming out, is this a cyst or could it be more concerning

immediate attention should be given and surgeon should be consulted asap, if it bled very heavily it definitely can not be a simple cyst. also any complain in breast like a lump/nipple discharge etc should be looked for. usually such lesions are lymph nodes. complete physical examination will decide which investigations you require.
