Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My girlfriend was just discharged from the hospital after having a flex -scupy. The Doc told me there was a 5 - 6 cm mass in her lower bowel about at her rectum. Her blood markers are at 14.9 for her lymph auto and 76 for the neutro. Can you tell me what are some of the possibilities of her diagnosis?
The mass in her rectum could be a pedunculated or sessile polyp. The surgeon while doing the colonoscopy, must certainly have taken a tissue out of this mass for histopathology examination. Once the report of this examination is available, the surgeon can then advise her on the proper management protocol.
