Hello, You are getting negative HPT tests after IUD removal. You had a spotting of blood. A positive HPT result means you have the pregnancy hormone hCG in sufficient amount in your urine and a negative test means that it s not detected. In most circumstances, birth control methods don’t delay fertility. If after IUD removal there is delay in conceiving means there is underlying fertility problem in the couple that requires treatment and both partners should get clinically examined by a Gynae. Fertility problems related to ovulation irregularity, heavy and irregular periods, or pelvic pain, PID, PCOS may interfere with your chances of conceiving. Another reason you may have trouble getting pregnant after IUD removal is scarring in the uterus from the IUD itself. Get clinically examined, get imaging tests done, get infection treated as it can cause difficulty conceiving and might increase the chance of a miscarriage.
