I am a 31 year old female , mother of an almost 2 year old princess. We are quite active as you could imagine. I woke up about 3 days ago and what appears to be a possible blood blister on my outer upper thigh. Though it looks as if it is it s causing a bit of discomfort and a pretty bad shooting pain. Please help. My doctor is on vacation so any suggestions would be greatly appreciared. Thank you kindly
- Avoid exposure to sunlight and wear loose clothes. - Keep yourself hydrated by drinking plenty of water. - Take vitamin B2 and niacin supplement. - Apply topical antibacterial mupirocin on it.
If condition keeps on persisting then you should consult dermatologist once and to rule out other systemic conditions. Doctor may start treatment accordingly and give antihistamine medications to prevent allergy.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
