What Does A Painful Bruise Near The Nipple Indicate?
My 18 month old granddaughter came back from a visit with her mom with a karge bruise on her right side upper chest near nipple. There is a bump bigger than the size of a pea that hurts the baby extremely so much so that if you even lift her shirt to look at it, she flinches in pain. We have a dr appt tomorrow but I am concerned what it may be

It might have developed due to some trivial trauma or insect bite. Nothing much to worry as it will settle on its own. As the first line of management, you can take analgesics like Ibuprofen or Diclofenac for pain relief.
