Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
For the last couple of months I have had issues when pooping. i have had thinner ribbony shaped poop and occasional diarrhea. I have also had anal leakage and occasional very light pink blood on toilet paper after wiping. Today I noticed a small hard lump protruding from the top of my anus. It is not painful to touch. I think I have had some anal fissures as well in the last couple of months. When all this started it began with a very itchy anus. I am a 38 year old male with no history of cancer in my family. I am overweight but in the 7months have been dieting and exercising and lost 75 pounds, I weigh in about 310lbs.
Hello I appreciate your concern Looking at your description that could be hemorrhoids or fissure in anus Since you are overweight but you have reduced a lot I would advise you to reduce further if you can with dietary restrictions and regular physical exercises
You have a family history of cancer, So to be on safe side I would advise you to consult your doctor for per rectal examination and an colonscopy if need be.
Meanwhile try to avoid constipation by taking laxatives or stool softening agents like liquid paraffin or lactulose Lignocaine ointment for pain and burning sensation Pantoprazole or rabeprazole as an antiacidity medicines Have pots of fruits and vegetables with dietary fibers
Hope this helps you wish you good health.
