What Does A Painful Lump On The Left Breast Indicate?
I had a mammogram two days ago. By that evening, I had a big painful lump on the left side of my left breast. Now is bigger and swollen. I called the center and they said that I did have a cyst over there. I m wondering if the compressin from the mammogram did something to cause the cyst to be inflamed

hi...you did not mention memograph report findings..
there are many reasons for painfull breast swelling..
first of all
1. go for physical eaxamination
2. do FNA examination
3. biopsy examination if any indication after FNA study..
all test will confirm the diagnosis..and guide for treatment accordingly.
