What Does A Painful Lump Under The Skin Post Tumescent Lipo On Stomach Suggest?
I had tumescent lipo on upper and lower stomach 6mths ago. When I went back for my 4mth follow up I had a large lump under the skin. The surgeon went back in and did lipo on that lump, but the lump did not go away and it is painful. Is this something dangerous that needs to be treated again. I am not happy with the results of my lipo.
Usually, the results of lipo will be shown with reduction of stomach fat. If it has reduced it, then, lipo was successful.
With regards to the large lump under the skin, to my opinion, you need further investigations: - lump ultrasound to evaluate its nature
To my opinion, it might be a large lipoma as it under the skin. Lipo cannot help, only surgical removal. However, this is possible only after a good physical examination by a general surgeon and abdominal ultrasound.
