What Does A Painful Protruding Tendon In The Armpit Indicate?
i have a very painful protruding tendon in my armpit which appeared after surgery to remove (benign) lymph nodes. Thie tendon prohibits me from certain movements. If I reach across my body, the scapula area gets zapped. If i reach up, the biceps get it. It feels and looks like a tendon that is ready to snap. Is it possible the tendon was wrapped around something during surgery? Or... ????
Local trauma to the muscle or tendon is a possibility. NSAIDS and muscle relaxants can be advised with physiotherapy to help with the pain and spastic episodes.
Wishing you best of health
Thanks
