Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a small patch of skin about the size of a Silver Dollar and it feels like it is burned. It hurts to have anything touch it but there isn t any thing to see there - It just feels like a bad sunburn - nor rash or anything. I a 62 I had chicken pox as a child. I know shingles has a rash and blisters, but I can t think what it could be.
We need a little more detail to know what kind of a rash it is. Is it erythematous, scaly or rings of red circles or raised macules or papules or pustules? And to what all area it has affected the body like flexor or extensor aspects?
If you give us the detailed info about the same and some photographs if possible of the rash then it would be great for us diagnose correctly and treat the condition. It's very unusual for us to at least give a differential diagnosis also.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Archana
