What Does A Painful Red Rash Between Thigh And Vagina Indicate?
I have a really painful red rash between my thigh and vagina. It usually goes away eventually if I clean it often. It sorta smells but I sweat in the area a lot. It s really moist but if I put something there to dry it up some it hurts really bad. It happens every so often just a little rash that goes away over night but only a couple times has it been this bad. What could it be?
There are many causes but fungal causes are more. Best is a microbiological examination but it can be allergic. Do you have a history of sexual interaction? Spray the area, wash it with soap and warm water, dry it, change clothes everyday. Over the counter meds are also available.
Applying baby powder can also be helpful if itching infection is present. Moreover, strong immune system does not let these things happen. Use antioxidants like amla, aloe vera, basil, juices, fruits, veggies, multi-vitamins for a week. Breathing exercises are good and boost your immunity.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
