What Does A Painful Small Bump On The Shin Indicate?
I have a small bump on the lower part of my left shin. It has been ther for a month. I first noticed it one night when it started hurting, then a few days later bruising started in my ankle and back of my leg behind this bump. It hurts on and off now, mostly at night. I have a history of stage 3 IDC breast cancer diagnosed in 2007 , treated with made tony and chemo. I see my oncologist every year now and blood tests and exams have been fine. Just alittle worried that this bump is not going away
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, what the swelling you have been noticed may not be due to the malignancy but once it is the history of malignancy then any swelling need to be examine for secondary malignant lesion this is the rule, if have not inform to oncologist about this then better to inform about this, else it seems to be just simple lymph node hope this information helps.
