What Does A Pea Sized Growth On Side Of The Neck Indicate?
Thanks. Small growth on side of neck, size of a pea. Many years, no change. No pain, no itch, no heat, no col. Able to shave over it with no problem. Last three days it has ballonned to at least ten times. Still no pain or other. This is on my adult Son. Worried. Thank yhou. Gerald Richardson
I can understand your concern. As the growth is present for many years, it is not causing any symptoms and it increases in size, it should be ignored and should be evaluated for the diagnosis and treatment.
I recommend that you should see an ENT specialist for the clinical examination of the lump and investigations such as blood tests and biopsy. It will clear the diagnosis regarding what the bump is exactly and further decisions can be taken regarding treatment of it.
I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. Take care.
Best, Dr. Viraj Shah
