What Does A Pin Sized White Dot On The Face Indicate?
I am 34 years old. Male. 190lbs. My question is this. I have a tiny pin tip sized white dot on my face near the cheek bone. It seems to feel hard but it is so small, and in the skin. It is not raised, and it doesnt seem to be a pimple. Can you tell me if this is Milia or something else?
It seems that the white small hard lesion may be milia most probably. You consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis. Milia is a small cyst containing whitish keratinous material. It is a benign condition. It may be kept untreated,if you do not have any problem with it. If it is embarassing, you may go for treatment. It may be removed by extraction of material with pin or electrocautery under local anaesthesia. It may be done in OPD. I hope you got my answer.
Thanks.
