What Does A Protruding Bone Inside The Upper Gums Indicate?
I have a sharp tooth like piece on inside of upper gums pertruding through gum ,when I grabbed it with tweezers it feels like it's connected somehow to my bone on top gum, Is this pieces of teeth left over from full top dental extraction or some sort of bone.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that protruding rough hard structure at the wisdom tooth extraction site seems to be most probably a rough and irregular sharp bone that occurs due to improper trimming of sharp edges of bone during tooth extraction.. Secondly it can also be due to any left out root piece of wisdom tooth left accidentally in the socket and it has now erupted towards the surface of gum.. Pain in ear and throat can be due to inflammation extending from back of tongue while can also be due to throat infection.. I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like x ray can help in diagnosis and will be treated accordingly.. As of now take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen and do warm saline gargles.. Apply numbing gel containing Lignocaine over the sore area inside mouth..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
