What Does A Pulsating Sensation In The Upper Abdomen Indicate?

Hi- I have had a pulsating sensation in my left upper abdomen for a day. I have also had weird, gurgling or feels like blood having trouble getting through my heart for a week. Just wondering if I should see a Dr? There is no pain just a weird sensation. The weird heart sensation only happens when I lye down at night on my left side. But the pulsating occurs constantly. Thanks for the advice!

I need to know one thing - are you male or female. If female, please get a pregnancy test done. if there is baby then also you will have the same feeling. In some thin individuals, aortic pulsation is commonly seen or felt in the upper abdomen.

It keeps beating, so you don't have to worry at all if it is that. If you have any mass per abdomen with pulsation then also you will have the same feeling. But to know that, we need to examine you once.

So with this info, you can evaluate yourself but try not to worry more if there is no swelling or something. It's common in all thin people.
