What Does A Purple Lump On The Middle Finger Indicate?
yes, my middle finger has large purple lump 1 x 1/2 under the skin below the first joint. The doctor doesn t know what it is. He x rayed it and asked another doctor and he doesn t know either. I do have joint issues and arthritis but the docs say it isn t related to that. They called an expert hand specialists. I have not heard from the specialist yet and its been a week. I have had this for 4 weeks. I never bumped it or hurt it, it just showed up one day I noticed the pain and burning nd then saw the large purple area and swelling.

itis aleison needs tobe examined by surgeon. itsmobilityis to be seen and consistency is tobe observed if posible then aspiration cytology study is to be done with this it will help in diagnosis if requered it should be excised and subjected to biopsy.itcan be wart or ganglion. it can be diagnosed by local examination. after biopsy the diagnosis will be confirmed and treatment can be recomanded .
