What Does A Pus Filled Lump Under The Small Toe Indicate?

hi. i have been getting a pus filled lump under my rt pinky toe. the first time i got it 3 yrs ago it appeared as broken skin from too much moisture. it has reoccurred several times as a round red/pink buldgewith a white center and very deep into the skin. it beconmes unbarebly itchy at which point i make an incision (sterile procedure) i drain the pus and relief is immediate. it heals , then comes back once a month to two months. my dr said it was athletes and i explained it just the same as i have here.

Your symptoms seem to be related to athletes foot.

It is a fungal infection.

I suggest using an antifungal lotion for local application such as Miconazole cream.

I also suggest using anti-inflammatory medications such as Diflucan for three days.

I recommend maintaining good hygiene.
