Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I am wondering about a small rash I have, I noticed a dime size rash on my armpit, thought nothing of it like my shirt may have rubbed on it and it went away. Then I had one on my finger and thought I must have burn it on the oven and it went away....now I notice one on my leg behind my knee....so something is up. Its small like a dime size and looks kinda red and just dry skin....any idea what it could be?
These types of rashes are due to commensal infection because of perspiration. Apply Clotrimazole powder 2 to 3 times daily and keep the area dry as much as possible.
In summer take bath 2 to 3 times daily. If itching is there, take tablet Levocetirizine 12 hourly and do not use Corticosteroids topical applications.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Hiren Hirpara
