What Does A Rash On The Hairline Indicate?

Small raised rash in hair line next to my upper part of my ear .. The rash is aligned with my cheek bone on my left side . About a Quater size area that is sensitive. It s only slightly red . But it s generating sharp pain that shoots in my inner ear and lower jaw . Thank You for your help.

Hi,

I understand your concern.

The small raised rash in hair line which is very sensitive, generating pain in your inner ear and jaw could be due to any bad teeth. Consult further with dentist to check your teeth and oral mucosa for inflammation.

Skin infection (erysipelas) is to consider if the rash is on both parts of the face. Herpetic rash is also to rule out.

It could be of great help if you could send a photo of the affected area.
Consult further with dermatologist.
