What Does A Rash On The Left Arm Indicate?

Hi. Thank you. I woke up this morning with my left arm in a rash. I have had cellulitis twice and this just scared me to death. I had 105 fever with the first episode of it, but I do not have a fever. I ve been checking throughout the day I remember itching my arm during the night?? I am SORRY I cannot afford this because I am disabled and receive SSDI

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Rash on arm could mean anything from being exposed to chemicals or contact allergens, detergents or infection, mosquito bite
since you have two episodes of cellulitis you need to be careful not to scratch the itch as itching will only aggravate the symptoms and spread infection from nails to your arm
do not scratch but clean the rash area with saline swabs and apply anti-itch creams if no signs of infection or apply any antiseptic creams that might help.
take also oral antiallergic medicine like Benadryl ( cetirizine).
