What Does A Rash On The Left Side Of The Chest And Back Indicate?

my husband has a rash that appeared over night on the left side of his chest and back. There is soreness, some itching and what he describes as pressure in the left side of his chest. He is working in a remote area of Alaska and I am in Texas. Could this be shingles? He is 58 and has had chickenpox. Should I be concerned?

for diagnosis local examinations is requered. it appears to be fungal infection. so candid ointment may be applied.it requeres examination by dermatologist.
