What Does A Rash On The Neck Indicate?

I have had a minor rash on my neck near my ear for several years. I occasionally treat it with anti=fungal cream which diminishes it for a while. In the last week, there is a new painful small lump under the skin ... size of pimple. I am only concerned because it constantly hurts and doesn t seem to get any better in last 3 days. The lump is hard with no discoloration. I don t have money for doctor visit, but may go if this keeps up. Any suggestions in the mean time?

since it is prolonged then it can be fungal infection. apply candid ointment and if no improvement then systemic anti fungal antibiotic like fluconazol may be given.
