What Does A Rash On The Vagina And Buttocks Indicate?

Recently I ve been having symptoms of a rash on my vagina and butt. I ve also been on my period for over two weeks. With this I m experiencing that it seems like the skin on my vagina is loose and there are bumps where the blood comes from. (In the outer hole) I have been tested for HIV and other stds that came back negative a month ago. I haven t had sex either. I ve had bacterial vaginosis about 4 times back to back but recently haven t had it in awhile.

There are myriad causes of heavy and prolonged bleeding. Dysfunctional Uterine bleeding is one of them is caused by hormonal imbalances. If you have taken any hormonal pills recently, try stopping them for a while and see how you fair in your next cycle. Also whether pain is present while bleeding or not can hint towards some diagnosis like mass inside uterus.
You can tale tab Ovral on specific days of your cycle for 2-3 cycles after getting opinion of your Gynaecologist. In fact contraceptive pills have been found very helpful in regulating the disturbed or heavy cycles. But the cause should first be investigated by a good Gynaecologist.
Vaginosis per se will not cause prolonged or heavy menses.
Last thing to be mentioned but not the least is about any unprotected intercourse that you have had recently. It can be that you got pregnant and then aborted the products of conception.
