What Does A Rash Under The Breast Indicate?

I have a rash under one breast that just happened in the last day and was brought on by me treating a scratch with a bacitracin ointment. It looks like a lot of little bumps, very itchy and red and weeping. iS this an allergic dermatitis and how do I treat it?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Your symptoms could be due to fungal infection, contact/allergic dermatitis.
I would suggest to consult dermatologist for examination and take proper treatment.
Following treatment will help you
For fungal infection: oral fluconazole, application of clotrimazole ointment
Keep area clean and dry and maintain proper pelvic hygiene
Wear pure cotton padded bra. Avoid sweating in affected area
For dermatitis:
Continue to apply bacitracin
Application of bacitracin and mild steroid application for week
Tablet levoctrizine at bed time
Drink plenty of water and eat healthy diet
Hope this may help you
