Hi dr I had a hair cut 3 weeks ago and i noticed a bright red nodule on my scalp as shown in attached photos. I saw the family doctor and he told me that it is hemangioma and asked me if I had since birth and I replied that I am not sure but when saw my photos when I was a baby I found that I had nothing. This nodule is tender when I press it hard and if I do not press it I still feel that there is something slightly annoying. It never bleeds nor increaae in size . Also I did notice anything other nodule in the rest of my body. Could it be kaposi sarcoma??
Kaposi sarcoma happens mostly in patients with HIV. The lesions would be multiple and growing with time. So, by what you explain it is unlikely the lesion you are having on your scalp is Kaposi sarcoma.
