What Does A Red Rash On The Ring Finger Indicate?
i have a reddish splotch that appeared under my wedding band. it blanches when pressure is applied. no scaling, no itching, some slight peeling around the mass of the reddness when i discovered it. right now it looks like an upside down exclamation mark.

I got your chief complaint and it is most likely due to reaction to the metal in your ring that you are wearing. It is called contact dermatitis.
Do one thing remove the ring and let it as such for a few days and apply topical corticosteroids cream, it will subside.
