What Does A Round Rash Below Ribs Indicate?

I have a round spot on my left side just below my ribs that seems to be a rash that I scratch without thinking and it darkens and bumps appear around the perimeter. Anti itch cream works a bit but this has persisted for a few months now. Circle is the size of a clementine. Skin remains extra dry similar to psoriasis when I am able to prevent myself from scratching it. Should I be worried? Or shall I just continue to try to use anti itch cream?

Hi,
According to the history you are giving your rash seems moreover as fungal infection. You need to consult a dermatologist before going for any over the counter products. As using these products without a doctors advise can land you into drug resistant fungal infection. Final advise for you is that you consult a good dermatologist and start with oral and topical antifungal medications as advised.
I hope this will be helpful to you.
