What Does A Small Black Spot On The Upper Lip Indicate?

Hello, my upper lip got a small black spot in just in the middle then eventually spread through out my upper lip and turned so darked and my lips got so dry and rough and then it started to get so itchy. One morning i noticeed that my lower lip has black spots too, days later there were a few tiny pores in the middle of my lower lip and there s a liquid coming out from it. And also my lips are a bit swollen now. What is happening to my lips?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of small black spot on the upper lip which seems to be due to dry climatic condition which remove the natural moist layer from the lips and hyper pigmentation which is generally caused by excessive exposure to the UV rays.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to

Use petroleum jelly to maintain moisture.

Drink lots of water.

Avoid to stay in dry environment for longer period.

Use lip balm which can be directly applied rather than with finger.

Avoid using creams containing high steroid content.

Visit dermatologist once and get it examined if symptoms keeps on persisting and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription.
