What Does A Small Bump On The Lower Lips Indicate?

hi have a small bump on my lower part of my lip and it been their for a few days but before when i wash my face or have having shower i never really fell it but to day i have started to feel it and when ever i rub my face i can feel it rubbing up against my tooth

Thanks for the query..

It looks like the bump is on the inner aspect of the lip that is rubbing against the tooth and if it is painless it can be most probably due to mucous cyst formation or mucocele..
A mucocele is formed due to damage to the minor salivary gland or obstruction in the duct or the gland itself..
It is harmless but still for confirmation I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated..
If it is mucocele then doing concentrated salt water rinses can help in shrinkage of the lump..
If it still does not get better, increase in size or continue to recur then it has to be surgically removed..
