What Does A Small Lump At Bottom Of Skull Indicate?

Hi I have a small pea sized lump at the bottom of my skull on the back right side of my head. Its just above my hairline and under the skin. Ive had it for a long time, years I think, but as it has never hurt I just left it alone. Today it feels tender and I think it might be a little bigger than I last checked. What could this be? Is it worth going to a GP about this or should I just leave it alone?

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The lump at the bottom of the skull can be a sebaceous cyst or a fibroma or lipoma. Nothing to be panic, consult a general physician or a general surgeon and get it evaluated. If it is a sebaceous cyst or fibroma or lipoma, you can get it surgically removed.
I hope my answer will help you, take care.
