What Does A Small Lump On The Right Forearm Indicate?

Hi...I have a small-pinky size lump on interior right forearm and right shin...I also have a much larger silver dollar size lump on center of upper back...was told a couple of years ago by a dermatologist not to worry about the back lump was unaware of the forearm one at that time...no pain, no swelling, no redness, no restriction on movement. thanks for your help

Hello,

In most cases, this is just a swollen lymph node which doesn't require any specific treatment. Also, considering your description this may be some other benign subcutaneous lesion such as lipoma, fibroma or atheroma and if, there are no skin changes such as redness, pus discharge or pain and fever then you should not be worried since it can be easily surgically removed under local anesthesia.Then it there are doubts it can be sent to the patohistologic analysis.
