What Does A Small Lump On The Side Of Head Indicate?

hi, I have noticed a small pea size lump on the left side of my head, it doesnt hurt but back of my head on left I have almost a constant numb feeling and a bit pain which runs down to left side back of my neck(similar to migrane but different) . I have been also feeling really tired . is this something I should be worried and get checked out. thank you Zu

Hi Zu,
I would recommend you to check by a doctor if the skin on the lump shows any change (is red or has a small bleed), because it might be an insect bite and it requires further treatment if so.
If not, you should let a doctor feel it with his hand, if it is movable or not, the exact location of the lump, because we do have also normal lymph nodes in the head but they are located in specific sites in the back of the head.
Usually this kind of lymph nodes does not cause any pain, especially on this size. What I really want you to rule out is an insect bite.
