What Does A Small White Bump On The Lower Inner Lip Indicate?
Hi, a small white bump suddenly appeared on the inside of my lower lip, and I'm wondering what it might be and how to get rid of it. I did perform unprotected oral sex on my partner last week, but I've done that before and nothing's ever shown up. I'm also getting over a cold and am more congested than usual; I'm wondering if it's just a mucous cyst?
As per your complain it seems that a small white bump on the inside of the lip seems to be most probably a MUCOCELE that occurs due to damage to minor Salivary Gland caused due to trauma to the inside of the lip like lip bite..
Nothing to worry, you can start gargling with concentrated solution of salt water.. Avoid biting the lump..
In case if it does not regress in a week or the symptoms worsen consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
