General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

No need to worry. It sounds either like hard scar tissue or possibly a postoperative granuloma. Both conditions harmless. If your child seems bothered by it, I suggest you see the surgeon who operated her.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Anders Mark Christensen, General Surgeon
