What Does A Sore On The Lip Indicate?

I had family cook out yesterday and I ate some meat after that I went home then I realized a bumb but I payed it no mind then the next day I woke up with a sore on the conner of my lip I panic and scratched it off. Oh I have been very sick with dry cough for a couple days before the sore came in play and still have a cough just trying to see if they have connection

There is no frank or obvious connection between these two things. But Clinically we often see herpes labialis (lesion on corner of lips) associated with pneumonia. Since you are also having coughing, we should should definitely rule out pneumonia in your case. So get done chest x ray. If chest x ray is normal then no need to worry for pneumonia.
