What Does A Sore Spot Above The Knee Indicate?

I have a sore spot on the inside of my leg about 6 inches above my knee. Have had it about 4 days now. Feels like a bruise, but has not turned black and blue. Sore to the touch and can feel what seems to be a bump under the skin. The pain is like a burning/warm sensation. I am 60 and work in a furniture distribution center walking on cement all day and moving heavy objects. I also traveled by air from Ohio to Dallas, Texas 2 weeks ago.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. If it is visible swelling then sending a picture of affected area will be helpful. It can be most likely due to prepatellar bursitis. Applying ice packs will be helpful. You can also take NSAIDs like Ibuprofen.
Thanks.
I find this answer helpful
