What Does A Sweet Smelling Red Patch On The Bottom Of Left Foot Suggest?

I have a red patch on the bottom of my left foot. Its been there for about 4 months. My dermatologist thought it was fungal and prescribed Naftin cream. i have been using same for almost 3 months. The red patch is still there. It does not itch but it does have a sweet smell.

First check diabetes. .if it is high than it can b managed accordingly. .if sugar level is normal than it can b manged through homeopathy
