What Does A Swollen And Painful Lymph Node In The Armpit Indicate?

I received a dpt vaccaine in my right arm on Friday 3/30 and the new shingles vaccine for 50 yr. old and then the second shingles booster in 4-6 months in my left arm. I did have a few flu like symptoms on Friday evening but this am, 4/2 my lymph node under my right arm is super sore and swollen (fist size) in the arm pit. Is this normal....??? the dpt(whooping cough) vaccine did not hurt and was not sore as the left arm from the shingles vaccine was very sore for days.....what do you think

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
This can happen following shingles vaccination. Take Ibuprofen for pain and , if it persists see your doctor. I hope it helps you.
