What Does A Swollen Line Behind The Leg Indicate?

Last evening, I noticed a line , like a crease, on the back of my leg above the ankle but below the calf. I thought I must have been resting it against something & forgot about it. Just now, I found there are 2 creases with a hard swelling between. It is neither hot nor painful, & there is no skin symptom (though it is very near an eczema spot that has been there for months).

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As the lesion is not painful or hot or itchy, just observe it for 24 hours. If there is increase in severity in symptoms or new symptom then you should visit a local doctor as he will examine it to make a diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr Varinder Joshi
