What Does A Swollen Lump In The Elbow Indicate?

Hi, I am a 54 y.o female. My elbow is and swollen has a large lump. It was tender to the touch in the past and very painful when it came into contact with anything. This feeling persisted for a while, however, it did pass but my elbow is still swollen with a lump and has discolored / darkened along with a large area around it that extends an 2-3 inches past the elbow.

Hi it may be an abscess.You need to show this to your doctor for appropriate treatment--and also to rule out any swelling in the joint---regards
