What Does A Tissue Hanging From The Cervix Indicate?
I had an exam today and my doctor informed me that it looked as if something was coming out of my cervix. I have no symptoms, no pain, no vaginal discharge or orders. Do you know what could possibly be hanging from my cervix? She says I need to see a gynecologist for a further examination. Needless to say, I m a little nervous and anxious.

Something protruding from the cervix can be due to cervical descent or a polyp. The colposcopic examination followed by histopathological examination of the tissue is required to make a final diagnosis.
